We're welcoming a new team member to the RHC Family!

With a deeply grateful heart (and the good kind of nerves), I am so excited to share that we're adding a new team member to The Redheaded Camel family in November 2024!

Baby GIRL Cummings will make her debut mid-November.  Perhaps my most exciting launch day ever?! ;)  The irony of a baby arriving in the midst of what I've always called my "Small Business Super Bowl Season" is not lost on me.  What can I say... we plan, and God laughs.

As a small business owner, this major life change comes with a whole lot of excitement, but also requires much planning and preparation.  We have been working hard since early March to make plans to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible during this unique season!  Here's a brief rundown of what you can expect for the rest of 2024.

For the remainder of the summer, things will be business as usual!  Here are some fun dates to add to your calendar:

July 12 - 14 | Christmas in July door hanger preorder
July 24 - 28 | Teacher Tee Shirt Club launch

In August, we'll have special Back to School deals every week!  We've never done a month-long event like this and I think you're going to love it!  I am really excited about it.

September is when things will start to change, because we've got to kick off the holiday season early!  Our 2024 Holiday Collection will launch six weeks earlier than ever before - on September 17.  (And hey, if y'all love it early... maybe we'll keep it that way forever!) This will include all the products you know and love, and all those personalized products that are great for gifting.

On October 14, all our personalized holiday products will be removed from the website.  A small variety of apparel, garden flags, and other non-personalized holiday items will be available for purchase and ship directly from our warehouse throughout the holiday season, but for anything personalized, you'll need to order before the October 14 cutoff.  Please also keep in mind that ordering after this date may incur longer turnaround times, so plan ahead!

If you're a subscriber, you might be wondering what this means for your monthly (or bi-monthly) deliveries.  Have no fear!  We are working ahead to ensure that your shipments are uninterrupted during this season.  Please note:  Cancellations for ANY subscription will not be accepted from September 2024 - January 2025, as products will be prepared far in advance.  Cancellation requests made during this time will be honored beginning February 1, 2025.  If for any reason there are anticipated changes to subscription timelines for shipment/delivery, you will be notified by email!

I plan to take maternity leave through the end of January, but my team will continue to monitor our inboxes and ensure that things run smoothly along the way!  We'll still be shipping products from warehouses through the holiday season and into the new year and you'll still be able to order on our website - and if there are any changes to that, they'll be posted clearly so you know what to expect.

Many of you have been around since the earliest day of The Redheaded Camel, a decade ago.  Sharing my life with y'all continues to be such a special part of all of it - you've been here since I was a college student, started my first "big girl job," got married, moved away, moved back to NC, built a house, got a dog (and then another), and have grown this company.  Sharing this new season with you is a gift and I am honored and excited to be able to invite you to be part of it.  Thank you for your continued support of our small, family owned business and for your excitement for Quentin and me in this new chapter.  Your orders mean now more than ever... diapers are expensive! ;)

With love,

Sarah

PS:  I know announcements like these can sometimes come with heartache and grief. Please know that if you are in a season of waiting and wishing, I see you and I am with you, and I pray your miracle will come shining through soon.
