Three Ways to Make Back to School Extra Special

Three Ways to Make Back to School Extra Special

I can't believe Back to School season is upon us!  With its new lunch boxes and freshly-sharpened pencils, this time of year always makes my heart giggle.  Today, I'm sharing three ways to use our free First Day printable to make the first day of school extra special!

Back to School Photos

This trend wasn't a thing when I was growing up, but I am so glad it is now!  How fun is it to get to see your kids grow and change from year to year?  I love the trendy "first day photo sessions" and absolutely love getting to be a part of them with our printable first day signs.  If you want a free option, use the printable at the end of today's post to celebrate!

Teacher Gifts Made Easy

A thoughtful teacher gift has never been so easy.  Grab a mason jar, fill it with some fun teacher essentials like gum, ink pens, and a cute hand sanitizer.  Around the neck of the jar, tie a fun note!  Simply download today's freebie and scale it down to the right size, then print and assemble!  Have your kiddo sign the back of the tag for an extra sweet surprise on the first day!

First Day Decor

Instead of rushing around like your hair's on fire on the first day of school, what if you made it a big celebration?!  Consider using our First Day of School freebie as decor for your kitchen table.  Add some fun magnet letters or pencil bouquets and serve a breakfast your family loves to kick the day off right.  Sure, they could have freezer waffles and a juice box... but wouldn't an intentional breakfast together with all the treats they really love make a huge difference in the way you start the year together?!
