Gift Guide - The Perfect Gift for the Holiday Hostess

This time of year is always filled with get-togethers, gift exchanges, and holiday celebrations!  With that comes a lot of hard work for the ladies (and gents!) who put on the parties and events and the holiday hosts and hostesses always deserve a little something to say "thank you" for their hospitality!  Today, I'm excited to share my ideas for thoughtful hostess gifts that put the FUN in functional!  Never arrive empty handed again, friend!

Around here, we love our Alexa!  She sets timers when I'm cooking or baking, tells us the weather every day, and can play music from our Spotify radio.  This is a thoughtful gift for any household that you can be confident they'll enjoy every single day!  This version (the Echo Dot) is the one we have in the living room and bedroom and it's the perfect, discreet size.

For a hostess who loves to cook and bake, this sweet brownie pan and spatula would be such a fun surprise!  I love the witty sayings and neutral colors - something that matches every decor is always a win.  Bonus points if you include a recipe for your favorite brownies!

For hostess gifts, functionality is key.  No one needs more stuff to find a home for, am I right?!  I'm loving this salt and pepper cellar from Mudpie.  The neutral style with the fun handle make it chic and timeless and it's something any hostess can use and enjoy!  I'm adding one of these to my cart to keep in our gift closet right now.

A classic cookbook is always a great hostess gift to keep on hand!  One of my favorites is Magnolia Table, Joanna Gaines' first cookbook, which is full of comfort food and my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe ever.  This is one you'll want to grab a few copies of, so you can keep one for yourself!

Finally, a good candle is always a perfect gift for any occasion!  I am a huge fan of the Candleberry brand - their wax melts and scents are always perfect.  However, my favorite candle to give is the Woodwick Magnolia candle!  It is clean and fresh and not too heavy, so it won't bother folks with allergies or be too strong for a small space.  It's a perfect year-round scent that adds just the right touch to every home!

I hope these hostess gifts will help you prepare for your holiday events!  I always recommend shopping on Amazon for these types of occasion-based gifts, since their shipping is fast (and free, if you have Prime!).  Comment and let me know - what's your favorite hostess gift to give or receive?!
